Chromotherapy or Colour Therapy is a holistic healing therapy that uses the spectrum of light and colour to help with a person’s physical, mental or emotional health, and was used as a therapy by many ancient civilizations. ​​ Chromotherapy is a subtle and non‑invasive therapy that uses the healing energy contained within the visible rays of colour. It is based on the idea that colours create electrical impulses in our brains that stimulate hormonal and biochemical processes in our body; these processes either calm or stimulate us. The use of colours in therapy sessions can enhance your mood and improve your overall health. It helps you understand your needs for certain colours and show you how to use these colours for healing, health, relaxation, inspiration, and protection. TREATMENT OUTLINE I use a range of colour tools; at the start of each session, the client chooses 3-6 colours intuitively. Based on this choice and the client questionnaire, I use a selection of coloured crystals and silks, which I tailor for each client’s treatment. I place 7 crystals over the 7 chakra points with the client lying down, and place the colours silks tailored for that specific treatment. I also use a specific aromatherapy oil to complement and enhance the colour treatment. The treatment lasts 50 minutes. Please allow 1 hour. The first session includes an in-depth consultation when I will provide you with your colour analysis before the healing session. Before and after each subsequent session, I have a brief review and feedback with the client.
