Colour therapy, also known as chromotherapy, is a holistic, subtle and non-invasive treatment that uses the healing energy that uses the spectrum of light and colour to help with a person’s physical, mental or emotional health. It is based on the idea that colours create electrical impulses in our brains that stimulate hormonal and biochemical processes in our body; these processes either calm or stimulate us. Their use is widely accepted for healing, health, relaxation, inspiration, and protection. The use of colour for therapy dates back thousands of years and was commonly used in ancient Egypt and China. The use of colours in therapy sessions can enhance a client’s mood and improve overall wellbeing. Colours are all around us in clothing, food, decoration, nature, etc and we know that colours have certain biological and psychological effects on people’s behaviour in different ways, that is why it is widely used in advertising. Some colours have a calming effect, while others are known to stimulate both, mental and physical activity. It may not seem very obvious, but colours play a great role in our lives, even if we are not aware of it. In my sessions, I use a range of handmade colour bottles, colour silks and colour crystals to attract the vibrational qualities customised to my client’s needs. MY UNIQUE TREATMENT The treatment lasts 50 minutes, but please allow 1 hour. The client will remain fully clothed while lying on the coach. The first session includes a consultation before the healing session. Also, I have a brief feed-back with my client after the session As a therapist, I use many techniques and tools during each healing treatment: · Lavender Oil diffuser which helps relaxation, lights up the room and eases the mood · Colour bottles for the client to choose 3-6 colours intuitively (like and dislike) · Chakra stones to activate and balance the chakras. · Colour silks to amplify the colour vibration over the crystals · Sacred Geometry symbols to enhance the healing
